Wednesday, June 20th     Dog Training at the Fairgounds 7 P.M.
Bring your dog and come prepared to train in obedience and
grooming and handling classes.  

Training Tips:   bring along tiny, bite sized treats for your pet. Can be very small
pieces of hot dogs, summer sausage, liver treats, or just about anything that your
dog likes!  Carry a treat pouch that can be attached to your belt or hooked around
your waist.  Feed your dog in the morning but do not feed him in the afternoon
before training as it is a good idea for him to be hungry for the treats. Also bring
your dog's bowl and a container of water to offer him a drink. This is especially
important when the weather gets hot.   
Remember that training should be a pleasant experience for you and your dog so be
ready to have some FUN!
Our Annual Bake sale and Raffle will be held July 14th in front of
the courthouse. Homemade dog biscuits for your four legged
friends and lots of sweet treats and goodies!
