Coal and Family at the Lake
Our Male
V. Shap's Ebon Von Kohl

"Coal" is a trusted and valued
member of our family.
Everything a good German
Shepherd should be.
He has a calm but assertive disposition.
Although he is wonderful in the show ring he
is also a no-nonsense protector of his people
at home.

He was handled and shown in 4-H by our
then 11 year old son Dylan for his first year of
life. Quite a feat and a tribute to his wonderful
temperament considering he grew to an
impressive 27+ inches tall, and now weighs a
lean 100 lbs!

He turns heads wherever he goes with his
amazing presence.  Highly intelligent and
quick to learn he responds easily to any new
training we introduce.  Coal is very gentle for
a male (except when biting the schutzhund
sleeve!), and never requires harsh
corrections of any sort which makes handling
him a breeze.

In his debut in the AKC conformation ring he
took a first and second place in his class at
two sanctioned shows.  He will be entered in
other conformation events in the coming
months.

In addition, we are excited to be working with
a premier trainer from Germany this summer.
UPDATE: The Bernard Flinks Seminar was
AWESOME!
COAL scored 9 or 10 on NERVES.
Strong firm bitework and excellent
COURAGE! We are proud of our beautiful
boy!

Coal is OFA pre-limed "good" and is available
for stud.
